Tommy Treadway was born and raised in Nashville, TN, and began performing at the age of 7. He is a graduate of Belmont University’s Music Business Program.

After college, Tommy moved to the Orlando, FL area and began performing in area clubs and hotel lounges. He quickly established a large following in the Central Florida area.

In 1989 Tommy returned to Music City and has continued to perform in the Nashville area as well throughout the United States and the world.

Tommy has also appeared numerous times on the Nashville Network. He has been featured in American Magazine, Be A Star, Nashville Now, and Country Today. He has also been seen on The Disney Channel and on The Fox Networks’ Not Just The News. In addition to tours of England and Germany, Tommy had two highly successful tours of Japan and Asia, sponsored by ITT Sheraton and United Airlines. Tommy has appeared as the opening act for such names as Livingston Taylor, Suzanne Vega, Mary Chapin-Carpenter, Mila Mason, Toni Chiles, Kevin Welch, Michael Johnson, Three Dog Night, Taj Mahal, J. Geils, Rick Springfield, Spyro Gyra, Koko Taylor, Jimmy Thackery, The Fabulous Hill Brothers, and others. He has headlined for corporate conventions with clients such as Ford, Allied Chemical, Chevrolet, Budweiser, MetLife, White Castle, Mohawk Carpet, Harris Baking Company, Walmart, Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals, Marriott, and Hard Rock Cafe. With his heavy emphasis on audience participation, Tommy’s act is fun and exciting and always leaves the crowd wanting more. In fact, Tommy’s fans have affectionately been dubbed “Treadheads!”

In addition to writing and performing, Tommy is also a talented comedy writer. He has written material for comedians appearing on The Tonight Show, Comedy On The Road, Star Search, An Evening At The Improv, Make Me Laugh, and America's Funniest People.

From 1988 to 2000, Tommy was a regular performer on Premier Cruises’ Big Red Boat. where he was “consistently the highest-rated performer [they’ve] ever had.” In 2008, Tommy was voted the Best Acoustic Act in Central Florida according to Orlando Weekly magazine and Orlandoweekly.com. He is also on the “A-List” at WESH-TV.com which recognizes the best of the Central Florida area.

In addition to his busy tour and performance schedule, Tommy is currently at work on a new CD of original music (his fourth). This CD, along with his previous releases, “Tommy Treadway,””What A Life!”, and “Paint This Town”, are establishing his body of work, and songwriting ability. Tommy Treadway currently resides in Central Florida.
